It’s clear the guys at Boring Marketing Company focus on what actually works in the real world. The team keeps things straightforward - consistent messaging, solid strategy, and a long-term view on growth. It’s a no-nonsense approach that makes a lot of sense for any business trying to build something sustainable.
A handful of Google reviews is the start, not the whole picture. We're a deliberately small San Diego search practice, so review volume builds slowly — we'd rather have reviews we can trace to a real client than a pile we can't. The fuller proof is in the work itself.
Selected engagements are written up end-to-end in our case studies — what we found, what we built, what we refused, and the outcomes each client measured. Others sat on camera, unscripted, to talk through what changed: those are on the testimonials page. Every number we publish links back to a source; every quote is approved before it goes live.
That's the standard. No stock logos, no borrowed metrics, no reviews we can't attribute. If a service line doesn't have proof yet, we say so plainly and point you to a current client who'll speak to you directly.
If we don't have reviews on a service line yet, we say so. If a client hasn't published their result, we ask before quoting it. No screenshots without permission. No metrics without source links.
